「 Houtarou & Satoshi throughout the Seasons 」
Near the strike of midnight, a ghostly apparition could possibly be seen appearing on the doorsteps of the home of Mamoru Takao, Kino Kiito and Tomohiro Takao. It was only a small possibility that this vision was seen however in the fact for most people, it was an impossibility. After all, a large number of people didn’t believe ghosts exists. But a ghost was standing outside the home. Under the golden florescent light of the streetlight, a feminine figure seemed to give off a slightly blue glow. Slightly transparent, if someone was to see the figure, they would notice with some shock that they would be able to see through her to the other side. But something like that didn’t bother the woman whose life was already up. She had only an allotted time on earth. She had to make it count.
Shimmering through the door to the inside, not a peep did the female make. Soundless steps she took through the interior of the home. Simple, mode and homely. A small, amused grin drew on her lips when she saw the pictures of two rather young boys, obviously in love. Some had pictures of a baby. At that, an even bigger grin appeared on her face. Even if it was early for two teenage boys to have a child, she could feel nothing but pride and joy for the family that she wouldn’t be able to interact with.
The woman moved more into the home until she reached the main room. On the inside, she found the target of her search. Spread out on the bed and holding a child in his arms, Kino Kiito slept peacefully. Unaware that the figure of his mother had entered his room, Kino continued in a blissful sleep he had slipped into while waiting for Mamoru to come home from work. The woman moved closer to her son, a sad and loving smile on her face. Spotting that the child had woken and was staring at her with those same lovely blue eye, the black haired woman reached out and caressed the babe’s cheek. “Shh, now, Tomo-chii. Go to sleep.” Almost as if in a trance, the baby’s eyes shut and he followed his mother into sleep. The woman’s hand moved over the bangs of her son.
If she could have cried, she would have. But that was an impossibility to her. She had given up her life to protect her son. And now she could watch as he grew and formed a life of her own. Her entire family had a special place in her heart. Her lovely husband who did the best for his children. Her beautiful daughter who only wanted to keep her family strong. And her strong, yet fragile, son who was finally coming up to her potential.
Kaori couldn’t be more proud.
"Oh, my boy…"
Finally was over. Work had been a bit stressing lately, to be honest. And he didn’t expected to be staying there until late, but he needed the money, especially now there was a new member on the family. Although he was glad to return home, where the two persons he most adored on this world were waiting for him probably sleeping, what was not a problem since he could sneak on the bed and rest next to his precious lover and their son. Those thoughts were that made him out so much effort and hope the hour passed fast.
Once the sliding door was opened and he stepped inside to close it, the first garment he removed was the jacket. Outside was still a bit cold so warm clothes were necessary. Was about to proceed with the shoes to enter on the hallway when a presence caught him. There were a few things about his powers were still complicated for him, but sensing some creatures like spirits was becoming pretty common lately. Mostly were friendly, others not much but those seemed to always stay away from him. Removed his shoes quickly then, following the path the strange aura left and which guided him to the main room he shareed with Ki.
This was not good, what if was there to hurt his boyfriend and Tomo? He had to hurry. Accelerating his steps he made his way up, rushing to enter on the bedroom, lips parting with the intention to use a loud tone to call the sleeping raven though the hybrid ditched the idea when the orange hues spotted the female was standing to the side of the bed, admiring the one were lost on dreams. A nice sensation wrapped him, there was nothing more than kidness coming out from the woman, who for some reason resulted a bit familiar. Wasn’t she…?
"Kaori-san?" The teen named with amezement on the voice, keeping this low to not wake up anyone. Ki’s mother was there. He remembered her from the past, when he used to play with her son as kids. Always sweet and attentive, totally pure. Mamoru was aware of her decease, Ki himself told him about it after they met again years later. Then why was there?… Could be she came back to check how her little boy was doing?
"You can do it, Tomo. Come on. Walk to Mommy." The baby was talking his first steps and damn it, this was the most exciting day of his life.
"Easy, easy." And the soft chuckle came as was contemplating his son to move towards the raven, always attentive to catch him in case this could lose the balance.
Well listen well my friend because it’s the sound of you being awesome. And hot.
There you go again. I’m not.
Mamo is a stud, tho.
He can listen, you know?
